Peru, one of the Latam countries that use cryptocurrencies the most

It has been estimated for some years that Peru is one of the countries in Latam with the highest use of cryptocurrencies. Currently the volume of transactions with crypto assets in Peru exceeds 45 million dollars. Regarding other LATAM countries, for this and many reasons, launching a cryptocurrency in Peru is highly recommended.

The adoption of the use of cryptocurrencies in Peru is due to many reasons, especially related to the fluctuating inflation rates in this country. It is estimated that for the first half of 2021, the integration of transactions with crypto assets increased by about 613% compared to the previous year.

Most of the transactions made with cryptocurrencies in Peru, come from Lima, the capital of the country, for figures close to 30 million dollars. It is estimated that currently the use of cryptocurrencies in Peru ranks fourth at the Latam level.

What are the most used cryptocurrencies in Peru?

• Litecoin: Litecoin, is a highly circulated cryptocurrency in Peru, Like the rest of the crypto assets, it works in a decentralized way, but it is endorsed to BTC. Its approximate value is $319 USD.
• Ripple: With a value of 1.70 USD, ripie is a currency very useful for transactions of large amounts of money, and for this reason, used by different financial companies around the world.
• EOS: Belonging to the EOS.IO project, it is a currency linked to BTC and ETH, and is part of the development of different DAPPS. The approximate value of EOS is 8.4$ USD.
