According to their calculations, there may be between 2.78 and 3.79 million bitcoins lost in the network.<\/p><p>The figures refer to those that have been lost and for the moment have no possibility of being used. Those that were hacked or stolen, are not taken into account as they are still in control of the coins.<\/p><p>The results are shown below:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>30 and 50% are out of circulation<\/li><li>100% original coins<\/li><li>2% in sales and purchase<\/li><li>2% strategic investors<\/li><\/ul><p>We see that between 30 and 50 percent of the bitcoins in circulation have the possibility of being lost, which would mean a total of 2.56 million bitcoins.
